For The Audition: Sing a song no longer than 2 minutes in length, an accompanist will be provided. You may also be asked to do a cold reading from the script.

About The Show: The recent Broadway hit comes to The TADA Theatre stage! Full of gloriously catchy melodies like “Shy” and “In a Little While,” this uproarious update of Hans Christian Andersen’s “The Princess and the Pea”, sets an unapologetic free spirit loose in a repressed kingdom, reveling in her ability to charm and transform with willpower, honesty, and a little bit of help from her friends.

​Note: Open auditions are for anyone wanting to showcase their talent within the age group called for by the character descriptions. The TADA Theatre does not discriminate in any way and believes in diversity casting. It welcomes meeting new talent as well as seeing veteran actors all working towards the same goal of connecting our community with the positive power of theatre in a safe and creative environment.

KING SEXTIMUS THE SILENT – Male / Silent / Play the age of: 45-60

LADY LARKEN – Female / Soprano / Play the age of: 20-30

SIR HARRY – Male / Tenor / Play the age of: 20-30

WIZARD – Male / Baritone / Play the age of: 30-60
